Using GoDaddy cPanel File Manager

I use GoDaddy to host my crappy little website (not for any good reason). To upload using the File Manager, do the following:

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
  4. In the Tools section, click File Manager.
  5. Use the directory tree to select the destination folder. The path will begin as home > public_html > yoursite.com. Mine continues, because I have two versions of my CLW—a WordPress version and an Tinderbox version. So inside my mapself.com directory I have two folders: wp and tb.
  6. I then click on the text of my destination folder in the directory tree. This makes its contents appear on the right side of the window.
  7. Then click Upload.
  8. Click the Choose File button.
  9. Select the file or folder to upload.
  10. Click Upload.
