How to connect with FileZilla: Connecting to Your Hosting Account with FileZilla

1. To set up your hosting account. See Setting up Your Hosting Account for more information.
2. Your hosting account IP address. See Finding Your Hosting Account's IP Address for more information.
3. Your hosting account user name. See Finding Your Hosting/FTP Login or User Name for more information. Specifically, look under STATS & USAGE > FTP Users.
4. Your hosting account password. See Changing Your Hosting Account (FTP/Panel) Password and Username for more information.

You will have collected the key information:

• Your hosting account IP address
• Your hosting account username
• Your hosting account password

Now download and run Filezilla. Open the Site Manager. In it, enter your hosting IP in Host, your username in User, and then click Connect. Enter your password.

On the right side of the window, look for the public_html directory. Then for your domain name directory. Then for your destination directory. On the left side of the window are your local files. Just drag and drop.
