Nicotine
There is nothing I hate more than cigarette smoke. My parents chain smoked in the house. I hated the smell. Even today, it is the odor I hate the most of all burning substances, including plastic and hair. Smoke was fog-dense in my house. It irritated my eyes, nose, and lungs.
