BoxPress will not waste time or disk space exporting every note. Children that are compiled as subsections are not redundantly exported as their own pages … unless you use the OWNPAGE export option.

So if you select a compiled child note and it does not appear in the Preview, good—things are working. (To override this and force all notes to export/preview, click the Export All widget in the Styles Dash.
