Feel as good as you possibly can right now
… and continue doing so for every now.
The true nature of self is joy and compassion. This is revealed when the epistemic-agentive subject is equanimous towards all its sensations. Then this under-nature shines through.
Self, nature, sensation—these are all contents of awareness, and potential objects of the epistemic-agentive subject.
What is the subject like then? The subject is just what is responsible for the meaning and value of this here now. The subject is the world it constructs.
When you attempt to negate an already-present vedana (feeling, sensation, emotion) you cannot succeed. What is present cannot be absent, and willing it to be so is pathological. In fact, the attempt actually ends up being additive—the presence remains, only now it appears as a threat.
As Goenka says, when you violate already-existing laws of nature, Nature herself punishes you right then and there. When you attack sensation with a wrong-making should or ought, you only succeed in making it more painful. When you attack you make sensation painful.

Fourfold VIpassana Tech |
This is a four-stage process:
- Practice Vipassana on vedana.
- Practice Vipassana on story-tellings.
- Practice Tar Tech on images (this absurd image will prevents the spawning of new stories).
- Express your victory as gratitude.
Use CBT for concepts, Vipassana for sensations, Tar Tech for images, and Gratitude Tech for attitude.
